Stone worktop kitchen

Stone kitchen worktops - decorative, durable & resistant

Stone worktop kitchen: your natural rock in the surf

A stone worktop in the kitchen is a trend that is here to stay. These stone worktops are not only robust, scratch-resistant and hygienic, but also bring naturalness back into your kitchen.

These worktops are often made of natural stone, such as marble, granite, limestone or slate.

Advantages of a stone worktop in the kitchen

Cut & scratch resistant

Robust, more robust, stone worktop: You can even cut on worktops made of hard stone (e.g. granite) without scratching.

Elegant

A stone worktop for the kitchen looks luxurious in itself. What's more, the sink, for example, is milled directly into the stone, which gives it an even more elegant look.

Naturally

As the name suggests, a natural stone worktop is made of natural stone. This allows you to bring more naturalness into your kitchen - and say goodbye to artificial materials.

Hygienic

"It's so clean here, you can eat off the floor (or worktop)" - this sentence should become a credo, especially in the kitchen. And this is exactly what you can achieve with a stone worktop in the kitchen. This is because it has very little abrasion and is therefore particularly hygienic - even without a carpet pad.

Heat resistant

In contrast to artificial stone, a kitchen worktop made of natural stone is heat-resistant. The pot from the stove, the plate from the microwave and the cake from the oven can therefore be placed on the worktops without any problems or burn marks.

With a stone kitchen worktop, you bring uniqueness into your home. Because every natural stone is unique due to its respective mineral composition - unique in color and pattern.

Pores, inclusions, tectonic cracks and veins, for example, also give each stone its very own character and are completely normal in natural stone.

Kitchen stone worktop: protected from stains thanks to impregnation

Our kitchens are impregnated at the factory, which makes many natural stone worktops acid-resistant and oil-resistant.

The impregnation also makes your board resistant to stains and easy to maintain.

Frequently asked questions about natural stone kitchen worktops

1. what material can natural stone slabs be made of?

Kitchen worktops are often made of natural stone such as granite, slate or marble. However, we also have other materials in our range that we can use to make a worktop for you.

2. is there anything to consider when caring for a natural stone kitchen worktop?

Acidic agents should often be avoided when caring for natural stone. However, whether this is necessary depends on the exact material. Our kitchen worktops are also impregnated at the factory - this protects against stains and makes maintenance easier for you.

We will of course be happy to explain all the details about your stone in a consultation.

3. how much do natural stone worktops cost?

Such kitchen worktops are unique, which naturally has an impact on the price. However, the price can vary greatly depending on the specific material, for example.

4 Which surface is best for the kitchen?

This depends, among other things, on the look and feel you prefer. Our natural stone slabs can be matt, polished, patinated or textured.

A worktop with a polished surface, for example, looks more elegant and shiny, but any scratches are more noticeable here than on a worktop with a matt surface.
