Dear customers and business partners!
In the series "My favorite stone" stone4you stone professionals introduce you to their personal favorites.
Vanessa Mayer checks a Belvedere raw panel in the panel store.
Belvedere is Vanessa Mayer's favorite stone. In Italian, "bel vedere" means beautiful view. In architecture, belvedere stands for the part of a building from which you can enjoy a particularly beautiful and expansive view. In the fascinating world of natural stone, a black quartzite from Angola lives up to the name Belvedere. Its powerful structure provides an insight into the unimaginable elemental forces involved in its formation. The fascinating pattern of the stone was formed many millions of years ago when light-colored quartz was melted under enormous pressure and heat in the middle of a dark, basaltic rock mass. After solidification, the quartz remained immortalized in the black rock in the form of white veins.
Twice Belvedere: With a silk-matt and a polished surface.
What do I associate with this natural stone?
For me, Belvedere radiates pure elegance and exclusivity. I associate its impressive appearance with the starry sky at night. Just like looking up at the night sky, you always discover new details in the Belvedere.
The customers personally selected the worktop for this dream kitchen.
Belvedere is characterized by the lively interplay of black, white and gold.
Attractive and practical: table insert in the solid dining table.
What makes it stand out?
In the hands of experienced stone technicians, Belvedere is used to create projects of exceptional beauty. The grain, structure and pattern make the stone an absolute eye-catcher. I particularly like it with a brushed "leather" finish. Its gently textured surface flatters the skin and lets you experience the minerals and structures with every touch.

What do I recommend it for?
As quartzite, Belvedere has a very dense structure. As an acid-resistant and robust hard stone, it can be used very well for kitchen worktops. However, it is also perfect for bathroom design and wellness areas. Fireplace cladding and interior staircases are other popular areas of application. As floor tiles with a continuous structure, Belvedere creates a beautiful picture in the truest sense of the word. Belvedere is polished and also available with a satin matt surface. The stone4you customer advisors will advise you carefully on the choice of suitable surface finish.

Belvedere is not an off-the-peg building material. Each raw panel is a precious one-off and has a unique pattern.
